Gluten-Free Sausage Balls---
The challenge of changing an entire diet (way of life) is daunting on the journey of living gluten-free. My advice for those new to this adjustment is that it can be done!
Converting takes time and some researching, but the great thing is that once you are established, your life will go back to a new "normal." It is obtainable to have your favorite foods by substituting alternative gluten-free ingredients.
With a little creativity, it is possible to make your family's favorite comfort foods.
One of our family's favorite snacks for fun occasions is sausage balls, and with a little trial and error we have managed to make a goody that tastes as good as its gluten filled counterpart. This recipe is super easy and has only four ingredients.
Let's make some gluten-free sausage balls!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lbs. sausage (uncooked)
- 8 oz. cream cheese, (softened)
- 1 16 oz. box of gluten-free Bisquick
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, (shredded)
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Combine all ingredients using your hands to mix it together until well blended.
- Roll into 1 inch balls.
- Place balls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Cook about 25 minutes.
VOILA!
